The Monday Night Jazz Hour is the weekly virtual performance offering during this current time to replace the live Monday Night Jazz Jam event that we've hosted at the Hangar Restaurant and Flight Lounge for the past 10 years. Each week the MNJH features a different group of jazz musicians in performance streamed live from the New Groove City Music Complex between 6-7 pm. The livestream can be viewed from the Al Downing Jazz Facebook page.

On this installment of the Monday Night Jazz Hour (MNJH), get ready for an exciting performance from Cuttin' Up Like Toddlers, a dynamic trio led by James Varnardo. Born and raised in the birthplace of Jazz, New Orleans, James is a drum virtuoso. Having played and collaborated with award-winning artists such as Dickey Betts, Staton Moore, and the Meters, James is a veteran drummer whose dynamic and technical control over his instrument is unparalleled. Joining James will be bassist Johnnie Barker (bandleader of The Barker Project), pianist Sergei Glushenkov, and saxophonist Emmanuel Montalvo.
