Free event featuring live performances by local jazz musicians presenting music from the Civil Rights Era along with narrated reflections on the connection between jazz and the Civil Rights Movement; also including a special segment on the healing properties of music, supported by research demonstrating music's ability to reduce stress, support emotional regulation, and promote holistic well-being. Come join our band of local jazz talent led by trumpeter Dwayne White for an educational and uplifting presentation to honor two greats.
